| Sixteen cadets representing eleven fire companies graduated from Chester County’s Fall 2025 Firefighter 1 class on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. The class required 192 hours of training, including nineteen weeknights and ten weekends spent in classroom instruction and practical skill development.
The course, held at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus, provided cadets with essential knowledge and hands-on experience needed to respond safely and effectively during emergency incidents.
Jacob Pryma, Jr. of East Brandywine Fire Company was named the Class Cadet and selected to serve as Class Speaker.
Chiefs Association President John Sly attended the ceremony and delivered remarks of appreciation to the graduating class. Chester County Commissioners Eric Roe and Marian Moskowitz also attended the event.
The graduates have shown remarkable dedication and perseverance during their training. Their achievements strengthen the fire service and enhance the safety of Chester County residents whom they are now prepared to protect. |
