CCFCA 3rd Annual John “Pup” Stout Memorial Golf Outing Celebrates Brotherhood, Remembrance, and Support for Fire Service
Whitford Country Club, May 12, 2025 — Under sunny skies and ideal spring weather, nearly 100 golfers came together for the 3rd Annual John “Pup” Stout Memorial Golf Outing, hosted by the Chester County Fire Chiefs Association. Originally planned for May 5th but rescheduled due to rain, the outing found a perfect day to honor Pup’s memory and support the county’s fire service community.
The event pays tribute to the late John “Pup” Stout, a beloved member of Chester County’s fire service family, known for his ever-present smile, lighthearted jokes, and unwavering dedication. Before the first tee shot, golfers gathered with Pup’s family for a heartfelt remembrance and a toast in his honor.
Proceeds from the outing benefit the Chester County Fire Chiefs Association, which brings together fire service leaders from across the county to advance training, improve emergency response, and foster collaboration between departments. Representing both volunteer and career fire companies, the association works to ensure readiness and resilience for the communities they serve.
After a great day on the course, participants enjoyed lunch, team awards, raffle prizes, and a 50/50 drawing. In a display of generosity, several 50/50 winners donated their winnings back to the association to help further its mission.
The Chester County Fire Chiefs Association extends sincere thanks to all who made the day a success—including our sponsors, volunteers, golfers, and especially the Stout family for keeping Pup’s legacy alive.
Mark your calendars: The 4th Annual John “Pup” Stout Memorial Golf Outing is already scheduled for Monday, May 4, 2026 at Whitford Country Club. |
